My Favourite Gemstones To Boost Self Esteem

Like many of us I often have days when I doubt myself, especially when things that are hard to deal with crop up in my life. Sometimes it can be very hard not to question yourself and very easy to think that you’re not good enough.

So … I have made a promise to myself that this year I am going to start believing in myself more and jumping feet first into things that scare me, to tell those nagging doubts that they are wrong.

As I am a great believer in the power of crystals I find that their magic helps me on a daily basis. These are my favourite gemstones to help with boosting self-esteem.

Rose Quartz is a heart chakra healing stone. It is thought to open the heart to love and kindness for yourself and others. It encourages you to love yourself unconditionally and can help you to look at life’s problems from a place of love.

Moonstone can help to bring about inner strength and self-acceptance. It is thought to soothe emotional worries to encourage a calm and balanced state of mind.

Citrine’s vibrant yellow colour is associated with joy. A stone of positivity, happiness, light and action, Citrine can help to stimulate creativity and imagination. It is also said to be one of the best crystals to attract abundance and success.

Onyx is a great stone to rid negative thinking and stop you reflecting on feelings from the past. This can help you to start living in the present with positivity and self-confidence.

Hematite is the perfect balancing or grounding stone. It can help you to feel centred and calm by dispelling deep rooted fears and anxiety.

My personal choice is to sleep with a Rose Quartz crystal by my bed, carry a Citrine crystal with me on my keyring wherever I go, and wear Moonstone, Onyx or Hematite jewellery on days when I feel like I could use a little extra boost.

I’d love to hear what you think and if you use any of these stones to help in your self love journey.
